Hi, I'm Amir Shahamiri — an IT engineer and software developer.
I build software and help businesses choose the right technology and put it to work properly. My work sits where infrastructure, code and the real needs of a business meet: from the server a service runs on, to the software people use every day, to the decision that has to be made before either of them.
What I do
Infrastructure & IT
Setting up and maintaining servers, hardening them, backups and monitoring — the kind of work nobody notices when it's done right, and everybody notices when it isn't.
Programming & software development
Building software that stays simple, stays maintainable, and keeps working as the business grows.
Business consulting
Before building or buying any software, it has to be clear which problem it is meant to solve. I help get that problem written down precisely, and then choose — between building, buying or subscribing — the option that actually pays off.
This site
Here I write about what I learn along the way: practical notes on servers and infrastructure, programming, and technology decisions in business. I try to make every article something you can use the same day.
You can read the articles on the articles page or follow them through the Atom feed. Most articles are also available in Persian.
